Argeiphontes Lyre is a great freeware for generating and processing audio. And Akira Rabelais, the program's creator, is a truly unique individual. Unfortunately, for most of you, it's Mac only. The
Shareware Music Machine is a great source for Mac and Windows audio freeware and shareware. I'm consistently amazed, and glad, that so many people will give away so many cool applications.
