Bells - Outtake from A Bulletin on Vertigo (4.8mb)
I composed this piece but ultimately left it off A Bulletin on Vertigo, a CD that I will be releasing on July 21. I've never finished tracks then left them off an album in the past. When I realize a piece of music is not working, I usually abandon it. I made this track (working title: Bells) pretty quick and imagined it as the last track on the album. When I finished all the music though, this one just didn't seem to fit. There must be something about it that isn't quite up to par, or I would have definitely found a way to include it.
Generally, I haven't been too disappointed in the conversion to mp3 of the music I've released here. There are some low frequency sounds in Bells that I really like, but I just could not get them to an audible level on mp3 no matter how high the conversion settings. The term "CD quality mp3" is an oxymoron.
